About 2 years ago, I started looking for something that would help solve my skin issues. I noticed an increase in dryness along the outer edges of my face – especially in the cheek area. There was also increasing puffiness under my eyes and my T-zone was as oily as it was during my teenage years. Plus the usual lines and wrinkles were making their presence felt.

I tried various lotions and potions with no great effect. Some clogged my pores while others just were not moisturizing enough and I had to keep reapplying them. Mila seeds under my eyes came and went as I tried different serums and gels. Similarly, I went through several brands of facial cleansers but to no real success.

I spoke to a few friends asking for suggestions. One of them told me that the only moisturizer she was using was a hydrating mist… I couldn’t believe my ears… particularly as I knew she was older than I was. She said it was all due to a range of skin care that she was using. So I took the plunge and bought them.

To my surprise, over the next few months, I noticed significant differences to my skin tone. Dryness disappeared, puffiness reduced, blackheads were fewer in numbers and on the whole, I felt my skin looked healthy and more youthful.

As friends asked me about my skincare routines, I started sharing what I had discovered… little things like the importance of double cleansing, of exfoliating regularly, of pampering the skin with delightful treats.

Finally, after having to repeatedly share my stock of skin care with them, I decided to bring in the range under my own brand.

Hence, JustFr0nd was born.
